Story behind the creation of strengths and benefits

There was a group of young people who tried to create a commercial IX (Internet eXchange) in Sapporo. They were unparalleled network enthusiasts and worked tirelessly day and night configuring routers, switches and servers. They were fascinated by the “freedom of connection” which was “open” by “liberalization of communication” and “internet”, and were excited of changing people’s lives by incorporating software that they created into a “general-purpose personal computer” with multiple NIC (Network Interface Card) plugged in.
And those young people even dreamed of creating RFC (Request For Comment: A definition of internet terms) because for them it meant “to become the provider of a new future for humanity”. Also, they thought “we can create anything” and “anyone can be connected”.
The spirit of Nextech continues even now.
